BS 5306 (3 and 8) for fire extinguishing requirement and location specification, BS 7671 on site guide to electrical wiring to the IEE requirements, FIA best practice guide to fire safety, Approved Document B (buildings other than dwelling) and other resources; in examining the reactive and proactive measures with a combined qualitative and quantitative methodology, of prioritizing the risk based on the likeliness and severity of harm and recommending preventive and controlling measures, as well as a time scale of implementation to help reduce the risk of Health and Safety and Fire safety in the built environment.

As a requirement
all risk assessment consultants would have undertaken or would be in the
process of undertaking a NEBOSH health and safety and fire safety certificate
qualification, with progression to undertake the NEBOSH Diploma exams in
ensuring that risk profiling is to an international standard.
